Students who have attended school during the Covid-19 lockdown have been kept busy with a great variety of activities.

Molly Swift, 7N1 - consistently submits work that shows real effort. The attached work has some really great diagrams and thorough answers. Lovely to see her take pride in her work at home!

Jasmine Williams, Year 10 - her work shows her ability to work independently and shows the consistent level of effort she has put in throughout lock down. Her source analysis is detailed and demonstrates a vital skill needed for GCSE history.

Kara Craig, 7FBN - demonstrates a good knowledge of cells applied in a creative and fun way that will enable others to learn too.

During the absence from school, Tamsin Meek entered this wonderful piece of poetry, set on 'Show My Homework', into the local 'Stonehouse Town Council VE Day writing competition'. Tamsin won first prize in her age category and the work will be included in a collection of work from the town later this year.

Lennon Cooper produced an outstanding piece of research on Joseph Stalin and has worked superbly throughout our time off.

There has been some excellent learning going on in Maths. See below Logan Blanch's work on prime numbers and Ruby Dymock's work on algebra.

Haitham has been working incredibly hard over the term to start a new Design and nutrition project independently at home. He has been following the recipe cards and demo’s given to produce a fantastic outcome each week.

Throughout lockdown, Millie has regularly submitted work of really high quality representing excellent effort and careful attention to detail.

Clara used her own initiative to design and make a key rack for her DT project. The key rack is manufactured to a high standard considering she has made her product at home and had no help or support from her teacher.

Year 7 have been tasked with creating a game using Kodu. Alfie Hopkins has produced a great game.

Molly Swift, year 7 was asked to create a piece of music using a new piece of software. Excellent example which demonstrated good structure and a clear understanding of which loops worked together.

Some fantastic work done by George Twinning, working on turning a film into a musical.
