Year 7 students participated in a Team Building day at Dean Field Studies Centre.
Oakley took part in Badminton Horseless Trials to raise money for Home-Start Stroud District.
Year 11 enjoyed a visit to New Theatre Cardiff to watch a performance of the musical play Blood Brothers.
Our Year 9 guides have warmly greeted our visitors this year, making our guests feel very welcome. They have been involved in over sixty individual tours, as well as guiding at our Open Evenings and during Open mornings.
The first year of the Duke of Edinburgh Award has been a complete success. Twenty students from Year 10 completed their expedition at South Cerney. They hiked over 15 miles over the weekend, put up their tents and cooked their own food on trangias.
On their first day at Maidenhill, Year 7's worked in their Learning Communities on a range of team building activities. Students had a great first day and found the activities a really good way of getting to know each other.
Psalms came into school to deliver reflection and meditation to Religious Studies and Ethics classes.
As part of their preparation for further education and employment after Maidenhill, a number of activities have taken place over the last few months.
Year 9 students were involved in a hugely successful enterprise event organised by our volunteer enterprise coordinator, Jon Batterham.
Maidenhill School Year 11 Leavers' ball took place at The Barn at Berkeley. A great evening was had by all and we were very proud of our students.

A group of Year 9 students visited an event hosted by the University of Gloucestershire to help inspire and raise student aspirations and to encourage students to think about their futures.
Year 10 Geography students worked hard collecting data for their GCSE paper 3 exam on their recent geography field trip.
Students had a great time at the brilliant Cheltenham Science Festival.
