A successful evening of Bingo was held by Maidenhill Friends to raise funds for the school.

Maidenhill had some very exciting visitors as 20 students from Narita High School in Japan joined us for one week.
Our most budding chefs from Years 7 to 9 attended a day at Forest Green Rovers working with chefs to create a vegan menu for the public.
Onatti, a French professional touring company, were welcomed to Maidenhill to perform their latest play ‘La Salle des Enigmes’ to a packed and enthusiastic audience of Year 8 and 9 and Key Stage 4 GCSE French students.
Maidenhill students and staff took the opportunity to celebrate World Book Day on 7th March by taking part in a range of activities.
Our Year 9s saw an interactive play to raise awareness around Child Criminal Exploitation.
“Positively Mad” visited to run a presentation to Year 9 and 10 called “Mastering Student Motivation”.
Year 11 students completed their final practical assessment with the theme of street food or lacto-vegetarian diets.
Year 7 and 8 visited Bath Museum of Fashion where they had the opportunity to study real costumes from Elizabethan times to the present day.
Year 10 and 11 GCSE Drama students attended a performance of the play 'Wise Children' at Bristol Old Vic.
Staff and students have organised a number of successful events raising funds for Charity.
Maidenhill is a school that always strives to celebrate the achievements of its students and we are delighted to announce that our Wall of Excellence is now on full view in our canteen area. The wall acts as a stunning visual representation of the quality work our students are involved in; from written work to photographs of practical work and beyond.
The Winter Celebration Music concert took place on 20th December and as usual was a great success and a highly enjoyable evening.
An enjoyable and successful Christmas Fayre was held, with over £280 raised for Teckels Animal Shelter.
HIT training have been supporting some of our Year 10 lessons. They have shown students how to butcher poultry and fillet fish, whilst discussing economising, seasonality and cooking a final meal.
