World Book Day 2019

Maidenhill students and staff took the opportunity to celebrate World Book Day on 7th March by taking part in a range of activities. The whole school seized the chance to embrace a DEAR moment in school, to Drop Everything And Read; highlighting the importance to immerse yourself in a good book when you get the chance. Tutor groups have been battling it out with the World Book Day tutor challenge, students have been challenging themselves to write twelve word stories and year seven have been designing colourful book covers.

As a school we are committed to support reading and feel passionate about books. We are looking forward to seeing some of the outcomes from the internal and the national competitions.
